Q: Can you help me find: a location, rentals, a
florist, and a photographer?
A: Prince Catering & Events can help you determine the location that is
right for you - based on your budget and venue preferences. In addition
we can handle all your rentals with our exclusive rental company. Prince
Catering & Events can also help you find the right florist, photographer,
videographer, entertainment, and much, much more.
Q:
Do I need a wedding consultant?
A: Wedding consultants can be of value before and on the day of the event.
They are however often an added expense. We can recommend someone that
listens, is easy to deal with and very creative.
Q: What are your
prices for a buffet reception compared to a sit down?
A: All our menus are fully unique. At Prince Catering & Events we build
your custom menu. A buffet comprises of more choices in the sides and
salads, is more casual allowing guests to mingle easier and is more reasonably
priced due to less labor. A sit down is a more formal affair, with a per
head price that is slightly higher and uses more staff.
Q: Are we allowed
to purchase our own beverages and do you have a corkage fee?
A: We strongly believe that the client should be able to cut significant
costs by purchasing the beverages of their choice at the best possible
price. We do not charge a corkage fee. We can also provide you with well-trained,
friendly bartenders for an added fee per-person.
Q: Does your service
include plates, eating utensils, napkins, etc.?
A: Yes. Disposable white tableware is included in all catering jobs. We
can also provide china dishware, crystal and various types of flatware
for an additional charge through our exclusive party rental company.
Q: When do you need
to know the exact number of guests who will be attending my event?
A: We request that you provide us with a guaranteed number of guests at
least 72 hours prior to the day of the event.
Q: How much time
is needed to set up for my event?
A: Typically, we require one hour to set up. Some larger events take longer.
Approximately the same amount of time is needed for breakdown and cleanup.
Q: Do you provide
beverages?
A: We offer a complete line of beverage services, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Our International Wine Bar is one of the most popular features of any
event.
Q: Do you provide
staff to serve the food and beverage? How much is the gratuity?
A: We do recommend that you have servers for buffet parties with 30 or
more guests, and all parties with full table service. The gratuity is
ten (10%) percent of the total food and beverage charges.
Q:
Do you require a deposit?
A: We ask for a twenty-five (25%) percent deposit for most events. This
guarantees your placement on our calendar.
Q: Are you insured?
A: We are fully licensed and insured for product and liquor liability

Do you provide food tastings?
A: Yes. Our expert chefs will prepare a selection of our most popular
menu items for you when you come in to plan your event. Please call our

Q: Can I make up
my own menu or make changes in your menus?
A: Absolutely! We love to help you create a special menu just for your
party! If you choose one of the menus in our brochure, you are welcome
to make any additions or changes you prefer.
Q: Is there a charge
for cutting the cake?
A: No. It is the policy of Prince Catering & Events to include complimentary
cake cutting services.

What size groups do you cater to?
A: Prince Catering & Events can handle anything from small events to an
unlimited number of guests.
Q: What is the largest
event you have catered?
A: 10,000+ guests!!
Q: What kind of foods do
you offer?
A: Our well-trained chefs can prepare any ethnic or fusion cuisine including
American, European and Kosher-style, Asian, Middle Eastern and African.
We customize the menu to meet the needs
of the client and to compliment the type of event.
Q: Will you serve functions
outside of the Philadelphia area?
A: Yes! We travel! (There may be a mileage charge, where applicable.)

Can you cook on-site?
A: Yes. Prince Catering & Events can handle BBQs and other on-site catering
services for any number of guests. We have managed spaghetti dinners for
4,000 athletes, Gourmet BBQs for 2,500 attendees, and much, much more.
